Frankie's Pizza & Wings Information

Walking into Frankie's Pizza & Wings on 200 Granville St in Columbus feels like stepping into one of those local spots that everyone quietly raves about - the kind of place you tell your friends about after your first bite. The vibe here is casual and welcoming, with folks popping in for a quick dinner, grabbing carryout on their way home, or lingering over a slice with friends while the afternoon sun filters through the windows. From the moment you glance at the menu, it’s obvious this isn’t your average pizza-and-wings joint; there’s a real passion for comfort food classics done right.

There’s a definite charm in the way the menu balances the familiar with the unexpected. The pizzas come with that signature thin crust that has just a touch of sweetness in the dough and sauce - something regulars will tell you sets Frankie's apart from other pizza places in town. A large pepperoni or a specialty pie feels generous, and you can taste the care in each slice. The wings, whether you go for traditional smoked or spicy-style, have that crispy exterior with juicy meat inside, and they pair perfectly with your choice of dipping sauce.

It’s not all pizza and wings, either. If you’re in the mood for something a little different, the subs are hearty and loaded - think thick slices of Italian meats, melty provolone, and fresh veggies, all wrapped up in a fresh roll. Appetizers like burnt ends or cheese sticks are perfect for sharing, and don’t even get me started on the funnel cake fries and Oreo churros for dessert; folks genuinely gush about them after their meal. The range of offerings makes it easy to please a group with varied tastes.

Service here strikes that sweet spot between laid‑back and attentive. You’ll often find staff with cheerful attitudes, moving efficiently during busy dinner hours, and never short on friendly recommendations when you’re unsure what to order. The atmosphere is relaxed and unpretentious, which feels just right for a place where the food is the star. Locals rave about Frankie's for good reason - whether it’s a casual weeknight pizza run, a laid‑back lunch with coworkers, or just grabbing comfort food after a long day, this Columbus favorite delivers flavorful food, good portions, and a genuine neighborhood feel that keeps folks coming back.

What People's Say About Place

Really great pizza, it's something unique in a flooded market. Good crust and a slightly sweet sauce, not overly sweet. They probably have the best wings in town, smoked with great sauce variety... Better than anything else I've had in Gahanna. Nice people too!

Delicious sauce and cheese! The thin crust is also perfect and not floppy.

First timer, ordered Jerk wings, Pepperoni and Jalapeno pizza and Burnt Ends. The pizza is great, plenty of sauce which was nicely balanced on a thin crispy crust. The wings are meaty and the smoked flavor is super. The Burnt Ends were a hit. I'll be back. A bit hard to find the first time. Turn into Rita's, stay to the right and drive around back. You're there!

Former Florida man, that moved to Gahanna a little over a year ago. I am a fan of Columbus Style, and since moving here I have been searching for a representative of Columbus style pizza in Gahanna. After a years long search….. Frankie’s Delivers that quintessential bite. The pep-pep-alooza pie, is delicious with three different flavors and textures of pepperonis that combined together… hits different. I ordered it well done to make sure the peps get a little extra curl to them, the crust is crunchy and crisp and the sauce is tangy with a hint of sweetness to it. I have also tried the Caribbean Jerk chicken wings and was surprised to find that much jerk flavor at an Ohio pizza shop. Overall if you live on the East Side of Columbus, and are a fan of CBUS style pizza, I implore you to get Frankie’s it does not disappoint!

If you’re looking for tasty Columbus style pizza, this is a great place for it. I got the Pep-Pep-Alooza. It was covered with tasty pepperoni of all sizes. The pizza was well done and the crust was crispy. I usually like softer, thicker crust, but this was a great detour from the usual. I also got the macaroni bites and I would definitely recommend. You actually get a decent amount of them and they travel well too.

Out of towners and we decided on Frankie's to introduce us to local pizza here. Couldn't be happier. We drove past many of the other local pizza joints and what a great decision to keep going. The crust is the perfect balance of crispy and thin. We had the dragons breath and the pep-pep-oroni. Both were fantastic. The spicy veggies on the dragons breath were a new treat. The owner was a pleasure to interact with. If we lived here Frankie's would be a staple eatery.

I ordered from here with high expectations and let me tell you I was not disappointed!! Allison and her father Frankie have really done a great job with the food options. I tried a large pep pizza and wings, with wife ordering a sub and the good reviews are not lying. There is something in that sauce that makes it pop, and sets this pizza aside from others. I know Sexton's gets a lot of attention, and Bar-stool loves them, but Frankie's has a taste that hits different. I would love to see El Pres do a review here even though I know its not his kind of pie. I can't say enough good about the food, and the service is always with a smile and a thank you. It's always fast and correct. Highly recommend!!!!

Quiet spot turning out solid pies. Everything was made to my liking. Ask for extra sauce with the chicken, bacon, and ranch, it seemed a little dry.
